Radial Nerve Block

Indications:
In combination with ulnar nerve block and median nerve block, all
operations on the hand Special Contraindications: none
Landmarks:
Pulsation of the radial a.1
Puncture site2:
About 1 cm lateral to the pulsation of the radial a.
Insertion of needle:
Parallel to the wrist subcutaneously
Dosage:
5 ml 1% lignocaine or prilocaine or 0,25% bupivacaine
